We will just have to see Carmelo Anthony back on the court after Christmas this season. He is spending time with his family due to the recent death of his sister, Michelle Anthony. She died of a pre-existing medical condition this Tuesday. She left behind four children.
Nuggets executive vice president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri stated: “Our entire organization supports Carmelo during this difficult time for him and his family. It is heartbreaking news, particularly during the holiday season.”
We can tell that he really loved his sister in the picture above. We are sure she was taken care of to the end.
We pray for the Anthony family in their time of loss and may God give them the strength they need to get through this time of sorrow. Merry Christmas to the Carmelo and his family.
