| Live Nation Climches Jay-Z Deal |
Live Nation closed the Jay-Z 360-degree deal Wednesday night (April 30), sources say.
The company yesterday (May 1) filed a Form-8K with the SEC which states that the artist is getting 775,434 Live Nation shares, plus an option on an additional 500,000 with the exercise price of $13.73. The shares go to Marcy Media, the company affiliated with Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter), in connection with the formation of Roc Nation LLC, a joint entertainment venture between Live Nation and Jay-Z.
Talk that Live Nation and Jay-Z were on the verge of closing a major deal began last December and broke April 2 in The New York Times. The roughly $150 million pact includes Roc Nation, as well as the rapper's own recordings and tours for the next 10 years.
Live Nation will reportedly contribute $5 million each year in overhead for five years and offer $25 million to finance Jay-Z's external acquisitions and investments, plus $10 million per album for a minimum of three albums within the deal's term. Jay-Z will also receive another $20 million for other rights including publishing and licensing. Live Nation is already producing the current Jay-Z/Mary J. Blige tour, which is putting up sellout numbers.
The Jay-Z deal follows major, multifaceted pacts Live Nation has struck with Madonna and U2. Speculation is that other mega-deals are also pending, ranging from developing artist the Zac Brown Band, to superstar artists like Michael W. Smith and Shakira. Labels: BillBoard, Jay-z, Live nation |

 The R&B/pop diva, who is worth a reported $100 million, inked a prenuptial agreement with new hubby Hov that could result in a $25 million payday for Bey. According to spywitnesses with The National Enquirer, the longer Beyonce stays married to S. Carter, the more money he pays. The thirty-eight year old Carter’s net worth is estimated at $300 million.
Jay-Z adores Beyonce, and was pretty much willing to give her almost anything she wanted. The prenup calls for Jay-Z to pay Beyonce $10 million if the marriage ends after two years, and $1 million a year for each further year she remains in the marriage, up to fifteen years.
The former boss of The Roc wants to be sure that his bride enjoys all that his massive fortune has to offer:
Beyonce would be granted access to their private jet and a fleet of cars, which includes a $1 million 1959 Rolls Royce convertible,” a tabloid snitch claims.
Jay’s thrown in a few incentives for having children, the Enquirer reports:
He’s promised to pay her an additional $5 million for each child she bears for him-for her loss of income during pregnancy and child-rearing years.
Ok they sign a pre-nup but lets be real for a minute. Jay-Z is sure giving her alot but what is she giving him in return. I guess by having his baby and yes it seen like the rumors are true she is expecting, that she get something in return. Don't this scenario remind you of her lil sister marriage?

Family member Linda Cannon has confirmed to E! News that the couple are, in fact, married.
Yes, we know,” she says. He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.
Linda Cannon wouldn’t confirm an earlier report that had the impromptu nuptials taking place yesterday at Carey’s new home in the Bahamas, only that Nick and his platinum-selling girlfriend have made it official.
I’m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him.

| Could this be Candace with her Ex-boyfriend Terrell Owens?
Yestersday I was reading on a couple of blogs that was wondering if this was her hiding behind a hoodie and a big sunglass. Now this chick was rumor to be the winner of Flavor of love 3. Now it was told to another blog that is was not her well by people that know her.
All I have to say is yeah yeah right. If this was someone else what is she hiding for? This unknown female got a hot guy thats always in the public so wouldn't you want to show off that you are the chick with him but noooooooooooooooooooooo all this coverup. Well I do think its her. If she is the so called winner of the FOL3 how would that look to be the winner of Flavor of love 3 out with another guy and its not Flav. Wait a min hold the presses that Terrell Owens get the spotlight on Flav's new show " Under one Roof". Its make you wonder what the hell is going on.  I'm so loving the Louis Vutton bag.
Inga "Foxy Brown" was released today from jail today. The rapper who had been on Rikers Island was greeted today by her family, friends, and fans.
"As soon as she was released from prison, she was greeted by her mother Judith Marchand and lawyer New York City Councilman Charles Barron, as well as hundreds of reporters and fans, some with posters and pink balloons, others with ‘Free Foxy Brown’ T-shirts. Brown wore a leather jacket, jeans, a black shirt, designer pumps and a stylish Fendi designer doo rag over her hair.
Brown’s entourage arrived in a fleet of luxury vehicles that included three Rolls Royce’s, a number of SUV’s and a Maybach, that was filled with clothes. Her family, friends, managers and a hair stylist and makeup artist were all part of the group of people that greeted Brown.”
I got to watch it on TMZ.com earlier and it was a very nice home welcome. I hope that Foxy has learn a lesson and learn to tone down he anger. Well atleast this event is being keep a secret. LOL.
